Movie: The Homestretch
BWC presents an exciting new documentary, The Homestretch, that breaks down the stereotypes around homelessness and connects you to the many issues that contribute to homelessness.
Right now there are 1.6 million youth in America that struggle with homelessness and the number is growing. The Homestretch follows three homeless teenagers in Chicago as they fight to stay in school, graduate, and build a future. These smart, ambitious teens, surprise, defy stereotypes and inspire as they work to complete their education and create new definitions of home.
The screening of this important documentary takes place at the BlueLight Cinemas in Cupertino, November 14 at 7:30 p.m.
