a special community meeting on
Effectively Preventing & Addressing Family/Domestic Violence in Our Communities

San José City Hall- Wing Room 120
The interactive panel discussion will include:
- How to identify family/domestic violence
- How you can work with the criminal justice system to effectively address this issue
- Effects of family/domestic violence on families & communities
- Resources that can help if you or someone you know maybe experiencing family/domestic violence
- How you can get involved to address & prevent this form of violence
Presenters will include representatives from the following agencies:
Bill Wilson Center Youth Program ∙ Center for Living with Dying (a program of the Bill Wilson Center) ∙ Asian Women’s Home (the domestic violence program of Asian Americans for Community Involvement) ∙ City of San José’s Family Violence Center (San José Police Department) ∙ Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office
