 e for answering general information calls regarding Bill Wilson Center pro
 grams and services\, and helping families and individuals access the corre
 ct Bill Wilson Center program.\n\nAs a part of the Contact Cares program\,
  volunteers should expect:\n\n- A comprehensive in-depth training on many 
 of the issues facing the callers and Bill Wilson Center clientele. Topics 
 include boundaries and confidentiality\, child abuse\, elder abuse\, addic
 tions\, HIV/AIDS\, death and grieving\, multiculturalism\, working with te
 enagers\, and communication.\n- Monthly support groups for telephone couns
 elors.\n- One 4-hour shift per week\, or 16 hours on the lines each month.
 \n- Flexible hours. Phone lines run 7 days a week from 7:00am until 11:00p
